Kratom (Mitragyna Speciosa) - Green Riau

This Kratom comes from the powdered leaves of wild Mitragyna Speciosa trees in the Riau region of Indonesia. I have selected this particular variety because I find it to be gentler on the system than other green Kratom varieties.

Kratom is primarily used in Indonesia to alleviate fatigue, stress and pain, while inspiring feelings of motivation, happiness and euphoria! It is related to the coffee plant, and some people even use green Kratom strains as a substitute for caffeine.

There are more than 40 alkaloids present in this plant, but the primary ones are Mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine. They act on the Opiate receptors in the brain, giving Kratom significant efficacy against Opiate withdrawls, anxiety, stress, depression, and pain in the body.

What I really appreciate about this plant in my own medicine practice is that I find myself more excited to follow through with tasks to their completion, which I get a huge sense of satisfaction and gratitude from. In many situations, I also have an easier time connecting with the people around me.

In Indonesia and other parts of Southeast Asia, Kratom is often used when picking coffee and doing other types of repetative work. It gives the pickers motivation and focus to keep going, and to do so joyfully.
