Gardenia (Gardenia Jasminoides) Tincture

This product comes in a 1oz amber dropper bottle.

This Gardenia tincture is made with the fresh flowers that bloom seasonally in my own garden. For this reason, supplies may run out and won't be re-stocked until the following season. This medicine will differ than many other Gardenia medicines, which primarily use the fruit of the plant and lean more into detoxifying and digesting properties, whereas the flower is more supportive of the emotional body and nervous system.

Gardenia flower tincture is said to possess anti-inflammatory, anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, and aphrodisiac properties. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Gardenia flowers have been used to release excess heat from the body's systems and increase yin energy in the body.

This flower's medicine has been used as an aphrodisiac, for stress relief, to sooth headaches, subtly aide digestion, release pain and inflammation in the body, detoxify the liver, reduce anxiety and feelings of sadness, reduce PMS symptoms and cramping from menstruation, improve cognition and memory (especially for elderly people or those experiencing symptoms of Alzheimer's), and lower blood pressure.
